IRS REPRESENTATION

At Goldin Peiser & Peiser, LLP, our emphasis is to help you resolve tax debt problems as well as deal with audits and appeals. Heading up our IRS representation practice is former IRS agent and CPA, Sidney Goldin. With over 30 years in practice, Sidney focuses on complete IRS representation.

Having served hundreds of clients over the years in the areas of an offer in compromise, a levy, a lien or an installment agreement or an audit, there are certain steps we take to assure that you receive the necessary attention for the best possible outcome:

1) Protection from IRS enforcement action. Our highest priority is to shield clients from further, direct IRS contact. This alone can give you peace of mind regarding a tax issue.

2) Conducting interviews. Initially, we will schedule a complimentary interview to determine what challenge a client is facing as a result of:

• Being notified of an audit
• Been or are about to be levied (assets garnished)
• Not having filed tax returns
• Having received lien notices

3) Signing a power of attorney. This allows Sidney the authority to represent every client before the IRS.

4) Stopping the annoying phone calls or notices. Sidney informs the IRS that we are representing our client, which requires the IRS to communicate with and contact us directly. His focus is to stop any harassment and directs all correspondence through our office.

5) Performing a face-to-face or phone meeting. Sidney meets with the client to diagnose the problem and offers the best alternative plan of action.
