With over 25 years of experience, Jerry manages GPP’s assurance department. Prior to joining GPP, Jerry worked in both public accounting and industry performing leadership roles from 1978 to 1989 as Audit Manager (“Big 4”) and Audit Partner. From 1990 to 2006, Jerry worked in the health care industry where he served in roles ranging from Controller to Chief Financial Officer with companies ranging in size from $12-$500 million in annual revenue.
Jerry’s distinctive background offers our clients a unique perspective on opportunities for maximizing cash flow, enhancing revenue growth, maintaining customer satisfaction and improving cost containment.
Jerry also has extensive experience with start-up companies as well as high growth and turn-around situations that require rapid upgrades and changes in processes and personnel. He has personally been involved in more than 20 business acquisitions and divesture transactions - including due diligence, negotiations and integration of the acquisitions.
Finally, Jerry has substantial experience in fraud and forensic accounting including risk assessments and fraud examinations.
As a University of Texas at Arlington graduate, Jerry received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and is a member of the AICPA.
