A sole proprietor had gotten behind on his business taxes for five years. As a result, he owed substantial back taxes for that period.

Our Approach/Solution

Goldin Peiser & Peiser’s Accounting team was provided a partial set of documents from the client. There were several unknown transactions for each year, so we connected with him to obtain the additional necessary information.

With all information in hand, we compiled complete financial statements for the client and prepared his tax return accordingly. From there, our IRS Help: Representation and Defense team contacted the IRS to ensure that his compliance was in order.


The Accounting team successfully got this client current on his past tax obligation, and has since kept him current with updated processes and regular interaction throughout the year. Additionally, our team now manages payroll reports for his one employee.
