This course follows the IRS offer process, outlining the various steps related to CDP hearings, settlement offers, offers in compromise, and the appeals process. There will be open Q & A at the conclusion of the 1 hr. presentation; no are prerequisites required.
The course will be lead by Sidney Goldin, CPA. As a partner at GPP and a former IRS agent, Sidney oversees the firm’s IRS defense practice and is responsible for representing clients in audit, collection, IRS appeals and, when necessary, at the IRS national office level in Washington, D.C. He is skilled in numerous practice areas including: tax discharge issues in bankruptcy, trust fund recovery penalties, offers in compromise, general penalty defense, innocent spouse representation, audit representation and collection defense. This course will go through the IRS collection process, various IRS notices and final notices, offer strategies, filing for bankruptcy, and other details related to IRS collections.
Lunch will be served at 11:45 am followed by the presentation from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
