“The more I thought about what I get to do, the less I realized I had to do.”
Alexis joined the Goldin Peiser & Peiser family in February 2018. A manager in our IRS defense services department, Alexis works closely with our IRS team on representing clients in IRS audits, appeals and collections. She began her career in Colorado after receiving her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010. Since graduating from law school and before joining Goldin Peiser & Peiser, Alexis worked extensively with business owners and individual clients on taxpayer defense and tax controversy against the IRS in Broomfield, Colorado and Dallas.
Alexis prides herself on building excellent relationships with her clients, as well as getting the best outcome for them. She once argued and won a $180,000 penalty abatement for a nonprofit organization. She brings to all of her relationships leadership, reliability and commitment. She attributes her success to the role models she had in her family, who dedicated themselves to building a business that is a leader in its industry.
Alexis lives in Dallas with her husband, Michael, and her two bichon puppies, Crosby and Elton (yes, named after her favorite musicians). When not defending clients, she loves a good book by the pool, volunteering for the community and cheering on the Denver Broncos.
